To manage a Rational XDE use case using requirement attributes, such as priority or status, you must associate the use case with a Rational RequisitePro requirement. You can diagram a use case in XDE and manage how it relates to other model elements. You can elaborate textually on the same use case in RequisitePro, and manage how it relates to other requirements.
When you associate a use case with an existing RequisitePro requirement, the name and description (found in the Model Documentation window in XDE) of the use case may be different from that of the requirement. To complete the association, you must resolve any discrepancies through the Resolve Use-Case Name and Description dialog box.
