The Rational RequisitePro-XDE Integration lets you associate an XDE use case with a requirement in a RequisitePro use-case document. You can use this Microsoft Word-based document to develop a textual elaboration of the use case with descriptions, flows of events, special requirements, and conditions.
You cannot associate use cases with documents alone; the association is always to the requirement in the document and not to the document itself. If you move the associated requirement out of a document, the association information is changed to reflect the requirement's new location in a different document or in the database.
