Opening an associated model element from a document

To open a model element from a Rational RequisitePro document

  1. Open the associated document and navigate to an associated requirement.
  2. Click RequisitePro > Requirement > XDE > Open XDE Element.
  3. The Go to Rational XDE dialog box opens.

    4. If there are requirements in the document associated to different models, you are prompted to select a model before being prompted to select a model element.

  4. Select the model and element and click OK.

    5. Rational XDE opens the model and navigates to the element.
