Use this dialog box to select or create a use case for association with the selected use-case requirement in Rational RequisitePro.
Note To associate a requirement to a use case, the requirement must have a name and text.
This dialog box contains the following fields and controls:

XDE Model File |
Contains the name of the selected Rational XDE model file. Type the full path and file name, or click Browse to locate and select a file. |

Browse |
Browses to an XDE model file. Select the model file (*.mdx) and click Open. Your selection appears in the XDE Model File field. |

Apply |
Applies the XDE model file selection. If the XDE model includes use cases that are not associated with RequisitePro requirements, those use cases are listed in the Select a Model Element list. |

Select a Model Element |
Displays use cases in the XDE model that are not associated with RequisitePro requirements. |

Associate |
Associates the requirement with the selected use case in the Select a Model Element list. If the requirement name and text do not match the name and model documentation of the model element, a dialog box opens through which you can resolve the difference. |

Create |
Creates a new use case in XDE to associate with the requirement. A dialog box opens for specifying the use-case name and package. |
| Refresh | Refreshes the Select a Model Element list. |
| OK | Completes the association process. |

Cancel |
Cancels the association process. |
