Migrate Rational RequisitePro-Rose associations dialog box

Use this dialog box to migrate Rational RequisitePro associations existing in a Rational Rose model to a new Rational XDE model.

Converts the Rose model to XDE and migrates the RequisitePro associations.
This removes the associations in the RequisitePro project(s) to the Rose model and replaces them with associations to the newly-created XDE model.

If you migrate these associations and then return to working with the Rose model, you must reestablish the associations to the original Rose model for each associated requirement and document on an individual basis. To avoid this, we recommend that you evaluate the integration between RequisitePro and XDE using test projects and models before migrating a production-level RequisitePro integration from Rose to XDE.

No

Converts the Rose model to XDE but does not migrate the RequisitePro associations.
If you do not migrate these associations, you must establish associations between XDE model elements and RequisitePro on an individual basis.

Note     Migrating associations from Rose to XDE changes the name and text mapping between model elements and requirements. For more information, see Name and text links in documents.
Caution    After performing this migration, do not continue to work in the original Rose model to modify use cases that are associated with RequisitePro. To avoid confusion, we recommend that you archive the original Rose model file for reference or backup purposes, and work only in the new XDE model.
