Associating a package with a Rational RequisitePro project

To associate a Rational XDE package with a Rational RequisitePro project

  1. In the model, right-click a package that is associated with the project.
  2. Select RequisitePro > Associate Package to Project.

    3. The Associate XDE Package to RequisitePro Project dialog box opens.

  3. At the Project Name box, click the Browse button. Open the RequisitePro .rqs file. Typically, this is located in a project subdirectory in the C:\Program Files\Rational\RequisitePro\projects directory. This may vary when accessing network-based projects or customized local project directories.
  4. Click Open. The full path and name of the RequisitePro project file appears in the Project box. The available document types and requirement types are listed in the appropriate fields.
  5. Select a document type from the Default Document Type list.
  6. Select a requirement type from the Default Requirement Type list.
  7. Click OK to save the association and close the dialog box.
